In 1986, the CHAVES winery positioned itself as a pioneer by being one of the first to market wines protected under the designation \u00ab"Wines of the Land"\u00bb<\/strong>, guaranteeing the origin and quality of Albari\u00f1o from Val do Saln\u00e9s. This milestone marked a turning point in our history, laying the foundation for something even greater.<\/p>

That same visionary spirit led us to actively participate in the creation of the prestigious R\u00edas Baixas Denomination of Origin<\/strong>, becoming the second winery registered in their registry. This achievement not only reaffirmed our commitment to excellence, but also put us on the map as leaders in Galician winemaking.<\/p>
