Castel de Fornos
Our family's flagship wine, it bears the name of our first vineyard, located on the hillside of Fornos. Our ancestors called it “castel”"to the stony, dry land, a prosperous enclave for cultivating the best grapes of Albariño of our land.

The Romans were the first to take advantage of the enormous potential of the northern lands: gold in the mountains of Las Médulas and wine in the Monterrei Valley.
The historical cultivation of the vine in this valley, in the Duero river basin, reached its maximum recognition and protection with the creation of the DO Monterrei, Young Promise of Galician Wines.
